Hero Honda Motors named title sponsor of the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup 2010

Hero Honda Motors Ltd, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, will be the title sponsor of international hockey's showcase event, the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup 2010. The once-in-four-year extravaganza will be officially named the Hero Honda FIH World Cup 2010 and will be held in March 2010 in New Delhi. The announcement was made at a glittering ceremony by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Indian Olympic Association and Hockey India. The present Indian hockey team will be looking to reclaim past glory in the twelfth edition of the tournament, this time on home turf. India will have to face stiff challenge from the eleven other competing teams, vying for hockey's biggest prize.
