30th March, 2010 SAP continues sponsorship of 505 sailing class at Kieler Woche SAP AG has announced its sponsorship of the Kieler Woche, the world’s largest sailing regatta and summer festival, being held in Kiel, Germany, between June 19th and 27th, 2010. The company continues its commitment to the 5O5 class, where business intelligence software from SAP recently helped competitors in San Francisco Bay create their winning strategies and enhance performance. ![]() In Kiel, California, SAP® BusinessObjects™ business intelligence (BI) solutions will also transform the experience of spectators, displaying real time insight into racers' progress.
With approximately 3.5 million visitors, the Kieler Woche boasts a position as the largest summer festival in Northern Europe.
The ten-day celebration on dry land hosts international meetings on social, cultural and current affairs, while the sailing event connects more than 5,000 yachtsmen from over fifty countries, with more than four hundred planned regatta starts on ten race courses.
